PoScout started with a simple observation: applying for jobs is a full-time job on its own. We built an AI copilot to handle the busywork, from finding relevant roles to tailoring applications and completing forms, so you can spend your energy on the conversations that actually matters and land you on job.
Why PoScout exists
Every job seeker knows the grind: rewriting the same resume again and again, re-entering your experience into endless forms, and losing track of where you applied. Many tools tried to solve this by automating volume, but that often turned into generic applications recruiters quickly ignore.
We believe the answer is not choosing between quality or quantity. It is both, at scale. PoScout brings the level of precision and perfection you want in every application, then automates it. It analyzes each posting, shows how strong your fit is, and generates tailored applications grounded in your real experience. What used to take hours of careful effort now scales across many relevant opportunities.

Mahdi Maghouli
Founder & CEO
Mahdi completed his MSc in Computing Science at the University of Alberta, where his research focused on applying machine learning and game theory to challenges in the energy sector. Alongside his academic work, Mahdi has built AI-driven products, including PoScout, an AI-native job application copilot that helps users find relevant roles, tailor applications, and manage their job search more effectively. Outside of work, Mahdi enjoys travelling, road trips, tennis, and exploring topics like finance and geopolitics. He also loves cooking, although he cooks only occasionally, the results are unforgettable. A fun fact about him: He has visited more than 14 countries and once drove nearly 3,000 km in three days.

Arian brings an engineering mindset, a finance foundation, and an entrepreneurial spirit to complex business challenges. His cross-disciplinary background spans analytical problem solving, financial strategy, and technology-enabled transformation, allowing him to connect business goals and the processes, systems, and capabilities needed to achieve them. Arian studied Finance at the University of Calgary and has built experience across startups and dynamic business environments where practical innovation matters.
